Don't tell the published adult novelists that heap praise on this deck of 54 cards and guidebook that they were originally created for my much-younger students!
I wore out my first funky homemade deck after revising it for many years. It took a presentation to MFA creative writing students to convince me that people meant it when they said they wanted their own set.
Now it's sturdy and beautiful enough for a lovely gift. The cards can be used as successfully with grades 3-12 as they can be with older, more experienced writers..
